About Us

I am not a professional linguist.  My academic education gained me a degree in the exact sciences and another in business administration.  I have recently retired from a professional career in the semiconductor industry and as a pastime I decided to build this web site, you could say, for a philanthropic desire to improve the lot of other people!

The material you will find on this site is aimed at explaining the Latin grammar, syntax and Latin literature in some detail, from beginning to advanced level; I also hope to make learning this noble Latin language and literature somewhat easy and pleasurable.

Suggestions for improvements are welcome.
Contributors who share the same objectives are also welcome
Enjoy.

Quis es tu?

Tu es discipulus aut discipula.

Carus optatusque web-domum meam venit!

Are you still working on this site? I like it very much and certain of my pupils would find it very useful, but there are quite a few small errors and slips (e.g. erat for erit on the Verb Example page).
