8.1- the good boy - puer bonus or bonus puer

8.2- the good sailor - bonus nauta

8.3- the famous poet - clarus poeta

8.4- the good apple tree - bona malus

malus is a 2nd Decl. f. noun, therefore the adjective has to be in the same gender, number and case. 
Remember, also, that while the fruit tree is feminine in gender, the fruits are normally masculine. 

8.5- bona discipula - the good female pupil 
(in English we don't have an equivalent term for discipula or discipulus)
discipula is nom. sing. f. whereas discipulus is nom. sing. m.

8.6- miser magister - miserable teacher

8.7- bonum magistrum - the good teacher (dir. object case)
magistrum is acc. sing. m., therefore the adjective must also be in the acc. case, and same gender and number.
