The City of Rome
Statues

Click on the tab Portraits of Rome to view a slide show of old Roman buildings and monuments

Click on the tab Rome: Now and Then to view pictures of ancient monuments as they stand today and how they looked originally.  This is done by showing the monuments as it stands today on the first picture and with an overlay image of the missing parts on the second picture. Quite enjoyable.

Click on the tab The City of Rome to view a simulated reconstruction of the city of Rome to prove that it wasn't built in a day!

Click on the tab Statues to view images of historical people, muses, gods, etc.
